Neste trabalho investigo 10 anos de meu arquivo pessoal trabalhando como fotógrafa de eventos para casamentos, reuniões corporativas, aniversários, baptizados e happy hours.
Sou contratado para estar lá, registrando esses rituais sem deixar meu corpo ser notado. O fotógrafo do evento é um ator invisível, um espião esquisito que faz parte da decoração – junto com o bolo de aniversário, a apresentação de slides e a banda que toca o último hit da semana em um pequeno palco no fundo do salão de festas.
Essas imagens digitais falam de uma sociedade de consumo e excesso, onde os modos de viver, de festejar e de trabalhar se entrelaçam, e padrões de consumo se repetem infinitamente.

In this work, I explore 10 years of my personal archive working as an event photographer for weddings, corporate meetings, birthdays, baptisms, and happy hours.
I am hired to be there, documenting these rituals without letting my presence be noticed. The event photographer is an invisible actor, a strange spy who blends into the décor—alongside the birthday cake, the slideshow presentation, and the band playing the latest hit of the week on a small stage at the back of the event hall.
These digital images speak of a society of consumption and excess, where ways of living, celebrating, and working intertwine, and patterns of consumption repeat endlessly.
