CONVITE DE CONVERSA, 2020 ação
Esta ação fez parte do CO-Residency, um programa de residência artística online que apoiou artistas durante o período de pandemia. Durante dois meses convido pessoas que se identificam com a palavra ‘sapatão’ para conversar comigo por video chamada. O convite foi feito através de uma chamada aberta em redes sociais, aplicativos de relacionamento e fóruns online. As conversas foram gravadas. Aqui me interessa investigar a multiplicidade de narrativas e performatividade que pode ser estabelecida dentro de um ambiente virtual. Também busco criar ferramentas de escuta e fala para articular a vivencia e memória sapatão.
INVITATION TO TALK, 2020 action
This action was part of CO-Residency, an online artist residency program that supported artists during the pandemic. Over the course of two months, I invited people who identify with the word "sapatão" which in English could be translated to dyke or queer, to have conversations with me via video call. The invitation was made through an open call on social media, dating apps, and online forums. The conversations were recorded. Here, I am interested in investigating the multiplicity of narratives and performativities that can be established within a virtual environment. I also aim to create tools for listening and speaking to articulate the experiences and memories of the queer community.
